As operators of offshore supply vessels, smaller merchant vessels, workboats, oceangoing ferries and others begin to feel the effects of increasing environmental concerns associated with our ocean's waters, coupled with more stringent enforcement of federal regulations, marine sewage treatment for the offshore marine market becomes a paramount issue. To ensure regulatory compliance and effective waste treatment for all offshore marine applications, OMNIPURE designed the Series 64 modular unit to meet the economical and space requirement of all small to mid-size vessels in the marine market
OMNIPURE didn’t turn to new, untested ideas when creating the OMNIPUR Series 64. No, we have achieved compliance to the MEPC.227(64) requirements by utilizing the same real-world, proven electrolytic processes that can be found in nearly 3000 OMNIPURE treatment units installed in marine vessels and offshore platforms around the world. Combining electroflotation to our already successful DSA® electrode technology further ensures treatment compliance. While Omnipure, has not changed its core electrolytic technology, the footprint and maintenance requirements for this new OMNIPURE Series 64 have been minimized
